Zain Iraq is the main sponsor of the exhibition for building Iraq and the reconstruction of its liberated areas
In the framework of its strategy to maintain strong communication with the Iraqi people and its continuous quest for a partnership that will provide them with the support they need to develop, Zain Iraq, part of Zain Group, a leading telecom innovator in eight markets across the Middle East and Africa, sponsored the Iraqi exhibition for building Iraq and the reconstruction of its liberated areas.
The exhibition was held at the Baghdad International Fair from the 26th till the 29th of September with the participation of a large number of public and private companies as well as a variety of foreign and Arab firms specialized in the fields of building materials, construction, electricity and other facilities of interest to Iraqi citizens.
Dr. Haider Radi, Chief Commercial Officer of Zain Iraq said, “Zain Iraq is keen on supporting the exhibition for building Iraq and the reconstruction of its liberated areas. This poses an incredible opportunity for us to take part in supporting liberated areas, helping them rebuild what was lost and restore life to those once lively cities. In fact, Zain Iraq happens to be the first company to work on the rebuilding of the province of Anbar as a tribute to its children, families as well as the entire Iraqi population”.
This exhibition for building Iraq and the reconstruction of its liberated areas provided a great opportunity for the participating companies to be involved in the construction, reconstruction and development processes all in accordance with carefully organized agenda. This constitutes a roadmap for the next phase to restore life in cities and provinces throughout Iraq.
It is worth mentioning that Zain Iraq is the first company in Iraq to rebuild the telecommunications infrastructure in the province of Anbar after its liberation. It has worked to address all security challenges and difficulties for the rehabilitation of those networks and to get the province’s telecommunications infrastructure up and running. It mobilized all of its engineering teams who worked in collaboration with its technical partners to build new telecommunications towers, sites and mobile phone networks across the province so as to ensure the recovery of all telecommunications services and to maintain the highest possible quality all in record time.
