Zain Iraq- part of Zain Group, the leading mobile telecom network provider in the MENA– brought the World Cup fever to the Iraqi youth, providing the opportunity to football fans to experience their passion in front of a giant LED screen installed at Yarmouk Club 300-seater stadium in Baghdad. This initiative is part of Zain youth-centric approach, fulfilling their needs in terms of sports and entertainment. So, the World Cup happening in Russia (June 14th to July 15th) is now in Baghdad, along with other cities including Karbala, Erbil and Sulaymaniyah, enabling young football fans to celebrate their most anticipated event with Zain in an interactive thrilling setting.

This initiative stems from our strategy to support Iraqi youth by all possible means”.
Lucky ticket winners will be selected through interactive competitions launched on Zain social media platforms and its customer care centers. Sports and art segments will occur between matches and on half-times, featuring Iraqi celebrities, football stars and media figures. Zain will also launch an ‘Analysis Studio’ inside the football stadium, a series of debates engaging famous personalities, and various competitions for the chance to win valuable prizes such as Zain Fi, special numbers, paraphernalia including autographed signed foot balls, trophies, and medals among other awards.
