Zain Iraq officially launches IFLIX to watch movies and series via mobile phones

Zain Iraq’s subscribers can now enjoy an unlimited list of entertainment from over 170 different international studios .

Zain has officially launched iflix that enables subscribers to watch movies and TV shows over the Internet.

Zain Iraq declared in press release that the iflix service will provide a range of thousands of Arab and International films and television programs with Arabic and English subtitles, as well as select (Avant-premiere) movie content, an exclusive series of academy-award winning programs and Bollywood features for Indian movie lovers, in addition to over 2000 shows and programs for children.

Zain Group announced its partnership with iflix, the world’s leading provider of film, programs and TV content, in order to create a joint business entity called iflix Arabia to provide world-class services to broadcast entertainment content to the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, through collaborations with more than 170 studios and distributors worldwide.

Zain Iraq customers will be able to get an iflix subscription valid for two months when they subscribe to one of the unlimited internet offers (weekly or monthly).

He added: “By launching iflix, we are enriching the digital content of Iraqi youth, who represent the foundation of the community,” Al-Zahid said, “Zain was keen to provide digital solutions to its subscribers believing in the role of digital technology in developing this segment of society”.

iflix was launched in May 2015 in East Asia, and has rapidly built its own dominance across these markets, deploying its services in 10 markets in less than two years, and has been able to attract over 5 million subscribers during that period.

It is worth mentioning that subscribers can benefit from IFLIX's digital content offers and register by visiting the iflix website or downloading the application from the Google Play or App Store.

Each subscription will allow the user to access the iflix service through five devices, including mobile phones, laptops, tablets, and televisions, to watch the content at their convenience.

There is also an exclusive feature for iflix subscribers that will be able to download movies and TV shows on their mobile phones and tablets from the huge library in order to view them offline.
