Startup Weekend Baghdad

In collaboration with Hub 200, Zain Iraq successfully launched the Startup Weekend Baghdad initiative, aimed at developing the local technology ecosystem and strengthening digital skills.

The initiative engaged 80 innovative participants, bringing together developers, designers, and entrepreneurs over an intensive 54-hour event to pitch ideas, form multidisciplinary teams, and build startups from the ground up.

By guiding participants from early-stage ideation through to prototype development and final presentations, the program delivered a comprehensive, hands-on entrepreneurial experience. It also enhanced participants’ readiness while contributing to the growth of the evolving tech community in Baghdad.
