“Zain partners with Huawei to modernize its network in Kurdistan to provide the latest communication technology to more than one million subscribers in Kurdistan”

Zain Iraq- part of Zain Group, the leading mobile telecom network provider in the MENA- recently announced the completion of its network modernization in Kurdistan in partnership with Huawei, the leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider. This step stems from Zain commitment to constantly bring the latest technology solutions to its subscribers, providing them with the best quality services.

“Our strategic investments in developing our network continues across Iraq, and modernizing the network in Kurdistan is a key part of it. Valued USD 46 million, the project was held in partnership with Huawei as part of our commitment to provide our subscribers with the best user experience in Kurdistan and the whole country. Mostly, this represents a quantum leap in managing our services. Today, over 1 million subscribers will be able to benefit from the best and most innovative network and the topmost telecom experience characterized by the highest quality and world-class technical standards”, said Ali Al-Zahid, Zain CEO.
