Zain Iraq provides Kaspersky Internet Security mobile application to help its users stay safe from cyberthreats

In the context of rising global need for cybersecurity and better protection of electronic information, Zain Iraq, part of the Zain Group, a leading telecom innovator in eight markets across the Middle East and Africa, announced its partnership with a global cybersecurity company Kaspersky Lab. in This cooperation will allow Zain Iraq to provide advanced cybersecurity technologies to its subscribers helping users to secure their data, money, and privacy.

Kaspersky Lab, which is consistently awarded top scores in more independent tests than any other vendor, will provide Zain Iraq with Kaspersky Internet Security for Android that has a range of tools for data protection. The user who subscribes to this solution will be informed about potential online threats or dangerous applications, will have a tool to block unwanted calls or text messages and manage access to the information on their devices. For example, if a smartphone or tablet is lost or stolen, even if the sim card has been changed, the subscribers will have the ability to locate their device with GPS and wireless or mobile networks, block access to it or if needed remotely wipe information. The cybersecurity solution also allows identifying unauthorized users of devices with a “Mugshot” feature.
