Zain Iraq, part of Zain group - a leading telecom innovator in eight markets across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), announced the opening of a new franchise in Mosul – Al Dawasah street in collaboration with its agent “Next Generation”.

"Being the second largest city in Iraq, we strongly believe that Mosul deserves our special attention. We are committed to restore the service in this strategic city, as we are keen to stand by our people there- part of our duty. We are working towards catering to our subscribers’ needs, rehabilitating the network infrastructure to offer the highest quality 3G and internet services”, said Laith Alobaidy, Sales Manager, Zain Iraq.

It’s important to note that Zain Iraq is the first company in Iraq that initiated the reconstruction of Nineveh province through the rehabilitation of telecommunications infrastructure in the province. It also faced all security challenges and difficulties, and used all of its engineering teams, in cooperation with its technical partners to build new communications towers and mobile phone sites and networks in order to restore the telecommunications service to the area with the highest quality possible, in record time, and at a cost of millions of dollars.
