Zain Iraq hosted a Workshop on human development at its headquarters in Basra

Zain Iraq, part of Zain Group, a leading telecom innovator in eight markets across the Middle East and Africa, has stayed true to its commitment to helping young Iraqis and the families of martyrs Stemming from this promise, Zain Iraq hosted a workshop on human development at its headquarters in Basra. The workshop, which was created and given by Al-Maisarah Institution for Training and Development, drew 25 participants, including youth and the families of martyrs in Iraq.

The workshop, which stretched over the course of two days, is the first of a series of workshops that will be organized in the future in a number of areas in Iraq. The workshop included pieces of training in marketing and human development in order to enable the Iraqi youth, particularly displaced persons and to develop their abilities and widen their horizons.

Zain Iraq said "This course is a practical application of Zain Iraq’s strategy, which aims to support and enable the Iraqi youth through capacity development. The importance of this workshop lies in targeting young people and families of martyrs. This makes it our responsibility to give these people their confidence back and allow them to regain sight of their future and their abilities. We should all give it our best to enable these youngsters in all aspects possible in order for them to kick start their lives once more with a drive and excitement to succeed and build a better future for themselves and their families.”

Zain Iraq wrapped up the workshop with the distribution of gifts and certificates to the participants.
