Zain Iraq continued organizing training courses for university students

As a translation of its vision and profound faith in Iraqi talent, Zain Iraq, part of Zain Group, a leading telecom innovator in eight markets across the Middle East and Africa, organized training courses for students from a number of civil and governmental Iraqi universities that specialize in technological competencies, telecommunication networks and information technology.

This is not the first time for such initiative, Zain Iraq used to organize this courses which aim to boost the skills and capabilities of young Iraqi talents in the field of technology thus enabling them to be up-to-speed with the all its rapid developments. Through its various programs and services, Zain Iraq remains absolutely determined to embrace the younger generations and provide them with all the support they need to join the workforce and transform their ideas and dreams into real successful projects.

The training sessions extended over an entire month, during which Zain Iraq’s technical departments hosted about 60 Iraqi students, who were given the chance to see the latest global developments in the telecommunications sector. The students experienced what they studied in university, seeing it come to life with hands-on practical work.

While commenting on the training courses, the Director of Corporate Communication and the Public Relations Department at Zain Iraq, Haider Aqab, said, "Completing to what started by Zain Iraq along previous years by organizing these courses for university students came as part of our various programs and activities that aim to provide support for the Iraqi youth and embrace their talents and capabilities. We want nothing more than to enable them, especially in the fields of technology in general, telecommunications and information technology. At Zain Iraq, we are committed to our social responsibility of embracing young talents and helping them develop. We are delighted that the students benefited a great deal from the individual experiences of the workers at Zain Iraq, thus expanding their technological horizons. After all, the Future developments in technology that will take place in our country and the region will be led by these young brains and entrepreneurs. From this standpoint, we seek to create awareness and promote opportunities that enhance their skills and talents."

These training courses for Iraqi university students are in line with Zain Iraq’s approach and constant efforts towards elevating the telecommunications and information technology sectors in the country, thus keeping pace with the global technological revolution.
