Workforce Development Conference

Sponsored by the US Embassy in Baghdad, the Workforce Development Conference is an initiative organized by the US-Iraq Higher Education Partnership Program (IREX) in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. This conference targets industry engagement and universities. The 2-day conference brought together around 500 attendees including career development centers, faculty members in Iraq universities. The conference is designed to strengthen the partnership between the universities and the private sector to develop the workforce in Iraq
