Snapchat and Zain Iraq team up to launch unique data offers for Iraqi customers

Baghdad, Iraq- March 2023- Snap Inc. has announced a new partnership with Zain Iraq, the leading telecom operator in the country. The partnership aims at accelerating digital readiness of the Iraqi youth and enables them to stay connected wherever they are.

As part of this strategic partnership, Zain will delight its 17.6m customers with dedicated Snapchat bundles that will allow them to enjoy a free data to stay connected with friends and family, live in the moment, learn about the world, and have fun together.

Zain customers will be able to have a firsthand experience of the vast selection of Snapchat's lenses, filters, and Friendmojis that make chatting so much fun, interesting, and immersive. In addition to this, they will also be able to engage in interactive augmented reality experiences created specially as part of this partnership.

Over 200 million people engage with AR on Snapchat each day, with an average of 6 billion uses per day.

The Snapchat offer is made available today to the current Zain Iraq customers with an active line to enjoy a free Snapchat experience for a limited time.

On the other hand, the customers of Zain Iraq and oodi (the first digital service in Iraq from Zain), can enjoy with unlimited Snapchat content without any data consumption as part of its premium packages from the get-go.
