Smart meter Contract
As part of its strategy in digital transformation, Zain IQ has supported the smart meter project which is started in the north and south regions in collaboration with the ministry of electricity. This service will allow Iraqi citizens to settle electricity bill fees via mobile app. As part of the pilot phase of the service, Zain has provided the general directorate of North & south electricity distribution with 5000 M2M SIMs free of charge with 2G/3G/4G internet bundles and the quantity will be increased to hit 60,000 SIMs.
