Zain Iraq sponsored and participated in a roundtable discussion organized by Prosperity Catalyst and the International Organization for Migration. The roundtable addressed the challenges faced by women-led companies in Iraq, suggesting solutions. Companies involved brought up to the table many challenges including: access to the market and sales channels, securing fund, and ensuring the quality of products. The debate also included how to identify start-ups that are capable of creating job opportunities for women. Next step will entail the assessment of participating companies to identify possible areas of improvement and develop a plan accordingly.
