Baghdad, Iraq | August 2025: Zain Iraq, one of Zain Group's leading mobile telecommunications providers in the Middle East and North Africa, together with its affiliates Horizon Scope Telecom company and Next Generation wholesale and retail distribution company, proudly announced its financial results for the second quarter (Q2) and six months (H1) ended 30 June 2025. The operator achieved exceptional growth, driven by network expansion, commercial focus, and diversification of digital and enterprise services.
Revenue soared to USD 313 million, marking a 19% YoY increase. EBITDA recorded USD 116 million, with a healthy 37% margin for Q2 2025, underscoring steady growth in operational performance. Net income also showed 3% YoY growth, reaching USD 40 million.
For the first six months of 2025, Zain Iraq’s revenue soared 16% YoY to reach USD 559 million. EBITDA amounted to USD 222 million, reflecting a solid 37% margin growth, while net income grew 23% to reach USD 66 million.
Meanwhile, the customer base grew to 20.9 million, marking a solid 10% YoY growth, further reinforcing the company’s leading position in Iraq.
