In celebration of the holy month, Zain Iraq, part of the Zain Group, a leading telecom innovator in eight markets across the Middle East and Africa, launches a new offer dedicated to the visitors of the House of God, especially pilgrims to Umrah during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr. Through this new offer, Zain Iraq aims to help keep pilgrims in touch with their families while performing Umrah in the Sacred Mosque (Haram al-Sharif) in Mecca. The offer caters to both pre-paid lines and post-paid lines and facilitates communications during their stay in KSA while they are using Zain Saudi Arabia’s network. It also offers discounts on incoming calls and call minutes to Iraq, not to mention the availability of the GPRS service, a 50% discount on Internet costs as well as 20% on phone calls and SMS text messaging.

Dr. Haider Radhi Chief, the Operations Officer in Zain Iraq commented on this new offer. He said: " Now that the holy month of Ramadan is upon us, our congratulations go to our people in Iraq and throughout the world. We pray to God that He blesses this holy month with goodness and peace. We are keen to keep our customers connected to their families and businesses, particularly during Umrah in the month of Ramadan and Eid Al Fitr. We are providing this new offer which features discounts on all services, an initiative that is in tune with our strategy to provide the best services to our customers wherever they might be, inside or outside of Iraq. "

Zain Iraq hopes that this service benefits its subscribers as an effective means for communication while performing Umrah. It should allow them to make calls and give them easy and fast internet access at all times at affordable prices that fit their budget.
