Raa’idat is a two-year program funded by the French Embassy in Iraq and supported by Zain Iraq. Raa’idat aims to Empower Women through Entrepreneurship: Ideation, Incubation, Mentoring, and National Competition. The program was executed in collaboration with the station in Baghdad and Mosul, as well as the SRP center in Karbala. Raa’idat started with 400 participants who received a series of trainings and a 3-months workshop, and then reached the stage of project pitching in front of a committee. After evaluating their project pitches, 6 startups from Baghdad qualified for the third phase of the program - The mentorship Stage - to work with experts and mentors specialized in projects management and development.
