Zain Iraq opens a new franchise store in Karbala


Zain Iraq, part of Zain group - a leading telecom innovator in eight markets across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), announced the opening of a new franchise store in Karbala. Located in Sidra Center at Sidra street, the new store is an addition to a series of franchises and branches spread across Karbala governorate. The opening ceremony was attended by a representative from Karbala local government, Zain Iraq senior officials from sales, marketing, customer service departments in addition to Karbala officials. They all expressed their admiration and praised the quality and diversification of services being offered to the residents of Karbala.

The new store which will be managed by Al-Meera Company - one of Zain Iraq’s main distributors in Karbala - is designed to service Zain Iraq subscribers, cater to their needs of providing them with integrated services, direct facilities in addition to a diverse set of offers. The new ROS also adopts convenient working hours that fit customers’ schedules, from 09:00 AM to 10:00 PM except Fridays.

“Holy Karbala governorate is of particular importance to Zain Iraq. The governorate receives annually millions of visitors which has a positive impact in energizing the economy and the trade,” said Ali Al-Zahid, CEO of Zain Iraq. “This initiative stems from our commitment to partner with the local communities and cooperate with stakeholders and monitoring authorities to improve our services. In fact, our previous investment with global giants such as Nokia to modernize and upgrade Zain Iraq network in Karbala is a clear evidence of this commitment in view of servicing our customers both inside and outside Iraq especially visitors who come from all over the world to visit holy shrines, religious and heritage sites," added Al-Zahid.
