Global Studies by the World Federation for Mobile Phones (GSMA) indicate that there are more than 3 billion users connected to the Internet through smart mobile phones, which directly contributes to the enrichment of the digital economy. The digital economy has become one of the most important indicators, especially since it directly affects the world’s economies and individuals alike. In fact, international experience has confirmed that there is a direct correlation between the increase in data users and gross domestic product.

In this context and as a translation of Zain’s digital strategy as well as its national and social responsibility, Zain Iraq launched a range of innovative data transfer bundles. This launch ultimately aims for the development of data transfer services as well as enriching and enhancing the company’s plans to introduce innovative digital services to its subscribers, whether they are individuals or institutions. It also aspires to continue to develop the telecommunications sector in Iraq and open up the horizon for smart cities and innovative digital solutions, which have become some of the most important success factors for e-businesses and e-commerce, not to mention their direct impact on the evolution of the infrastructure of important sectors such as health and education.

Zain Iraq’s new data bundles are based on an innovative network and built according to international standards and regional market expertise. These bundles will enable subscribers to connect to the Internet for 1500 IQD a day or for 7,000 IQD a week, both offering unlimited data to their subscribers, making Zain Iraq the first telecom company to offer data bundles in Iraq.
